India plays an active role in steel exports to the Middle East, especially in Tubes, HR, CR, and Galvanized coils and sheets, stainless steel items, fasteners, and HR Plates. It also sources scrap and quickly needed steel items, not available in India, from various steel stockists and steel service centers in the Middle East.

Some pre-engineered builders such as Tiger Steel (UAE) and Kirby (Kuwait) have setup fabrication yards in India with success.

The exchange of steel business between India and Middle East is important. MEsteel helps it members to be the part of the growth.
