REPAIRS L.L.C. commenced operations in Dubai in 1991. The experience of the
company in ship repairing business goes back another 25 years, when the Chairman
of the company, Ved. S. Chhabra, an Ex-Marine Chief
Engineer, set up a ship repair and
ship building business in Mumbai, India, in the name and style of Bombay Marine
Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd.
The company,
under the guidance of Ved Chhabra and his son Viresh Chhabra, who is a qualified
manufacturing engineer from Boston University U.S.A. is continuing its course of
growth and confidence building, adding to the list of satisfied customers and
successfully completed projects.
Our facilities are spread over 30,000 Sq. ft. of covered workshop space in AI Jadaf Dock yard and very extensive open area around the, shed for heavy fabrication, storage of mobile equipment like cranes, welding plants, compressors, grit blasting equipments and of course steel plates and pipes.
The company is duly supported by a strong and qualified professional team with hands on experience of ship repairs. Their names and qualifications are enclosed.
The company has been accredited to the ISO 9002 by ABS Services Inc., for ship repairs and conversion, both in dry-docks and afloat. Having about. 450 permanent personnel, has access to number of sub-contractors depending upon the requirement.
